Perth Farmers' Market

The Event Store organises Perth Farmers' Market which is held on the first Saturday of the month in King Edward Street, Perth from 9am to 2pm.  The Perth market was the first of its kind to be held in Scotland and in March 2009 celebrated its 10th Birthday. 

There are between 35 and 40 stalls each month selling a variety of local and Scottish produce.  As well as this there are cooking demonstrations (sponsored by Cittaslow) where local chefs Tony Heath from The Tony Heath Cook School and Sarah Mellersh from Let's Cook, demonstrate dishes using ingredients available to buy at the market.
